Air
Manila and Cebu, are the regional gateways. To get to Iloilo, one can travel from other parts of the country in style through NAIA Airport in Manila as its premier gateway. By air, it is served by 10 jet flights daily from Manila to Iloilo that takes about an hour. Iloilo to Cebu is only 35 minutes by plane; two hours to Iloilo from Davao and Cotabato.
The new Iloilo International Airport is located about 20 kilometers outside the city in the municipality of Cabatuan. Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines currently fly 4 times daily, while Air Philippines flies 3 times daily. There are also flights to Cebu by Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific, each with 1 flight daily, and via Cebu to Davao. Cebu Pacific have its Iloilo - Davao direct flights three times per week. Iloilo City has the fourth busiest airport in the country and the busiest domestic airport in the country. International flights are being proposed mainly by Cebu Pacific going to Hong Kong and to Incheon, South Korea.

Transportation from the airport
When you arrive at the airport, you can hail a taxi. The fare from the airport to the city on average is from PhP150-200 depending on what location in Iloilo City you will be going. Flagdown rate is PhP40. Driver will ask you to add Php 10.00 to its meter. Make sure your taxi has the LTO yellow sticker on its windshield that tells you to do this.
Shuttle services by Suzie Star Tours are being offered to cash-strapped travelers. PhP 50.00 is the fare to the city and you'll be dropped at strategic sites such as SM City, Molo Plaza and Jaro Plaza.
Multicabs from Bangga Dama (Dama Junction) shuttles passengers to/from the airport for PhP10. From Bangga Dama in Santa Barbara town, take a jeepney to the city (Highway if you'll be going straight to Mandurriao District, City Proper, Molo or SM City or LaPaz if your heading to Boracay/North Panay Bus Terminal or Jaro and LaPaz Districts) and it'll cost you approximately P15.
Sea
The city has four major seaports, the International Port at Loboc, the Domestic Port at Fort San Pedro, the Muelle Loney Port serving the Iloilo to Bacolod trips and the Ortiz Port serving the Iloilo to Guimaras trips. Iloilo currently has the only true international port in Western Visayas and the is one of the busiest ports in the country.
Sailing time is about 20 hours from Manila 12 times weekly; from Zamboanga or Cagayan de Oro, 14 hours twice a week; from Cebu, 12 hours once daily. Fastcrafts from Bacolod City take 50 minutes. There is also a nautical highway service by roll-on-roll-off (RORO) vessels fom various parts of the country. Bus terminals are in Ali Mall Cubao, Quezon City and Pasay City.

Land
Tourists from Iloilo City are highly assured of a very smooth and safe travel in the different municipalities of the province. Air-conditioned buses, vans and jeeps are readily and widely available to transport visitors to their destination of choice and will surely get to experience a totally different environment where adventure awaits them.
The city is a transportation hub of Panay and nearby islands including Boracay and Guimaras. There are several bus companies that provide transportation to the other major urban areas of Panay - Kalibo in Aklan, San Jose in Antique, Roxas in Capiz, and Passi City in Iloilo. Additionally there are jeepneys and taxis plowing through the streets. There are also PhilTranco buses from Cubao, Quezon City to Iloilo City that use the ro-ro ferries.
